Hi! Welcome! I reblog a lot of fandom stuff, from pretty much anything, random facts, funny things, anything I like. Either way, it's all awesome, because I've got a great sense of humor.Ask me anything
Why is Romeo and Juliet often hailed as a great love story? It is about an unhealthy two day relationship that leads to the deaths of six people, including the lovers themselves. Why would we encourage that by calling it a great or even good love story?
We should have a love story about two people with stable lives that can be apart and still happy, even if they miss each other. Two people who have full lives that don’t require romance but feel more complete when they have each other in their lives. They should improve each other’s lives, not end them or enable bad habits. That’s just what I think though.
